The Monti family has purchased the property in 1977 by a society: 48 hectares of forest, 3 acres of vineyard and an olive grove surrounding an ancient stone cottage. As in typical tradition of Chianti the house was at the heart of peasant’s life: raising of livestock Chianina, even from the courtyard as rabbits, geese and chickens went hand in hand with wine and olive production. Over the years the Family Monti has decided to reduce activities to focus on the production of wine and oil. The passion of Mrs. Amina has added to these products jams and home-made jams. The son Livio with his three grandchildren help in the conduct of this farmhouse, that 3 years ago started the business of rural tourism, opening its doors to guests from all over the world.
